If you like more than one domain, the smart move would be to register them all. That’ll let you take your time deciding without the risk of someone else swooping up the one you really want. Disclaimer: the sales funnel I am about to show you is not the only type of sales funnel that you can create to sell your course, but it is one that is currently being used by many online instructors in the Thinkific community. These companies are established, and through A/B testing are embracing these aspirational marketing ideas.
The availability of a website is measured by the percentage of a year in which the website is publicly accessible and reachable via the Internet. This is different from measuring the uptime of a system. Uptime refers to the system itself being online. Uptime does not take into account being able to reach it as in the event of a network outage. A hosting provider's Service Level Agreement (SLA) may include a certain amount of scheduled downtime per year in order to perform maintenance on the systems. This scheduled downtime is often excluded from the SLA timeframe, and needs to be subtracted from the Total Time when availability is calculated. If you want to avoid identity theft, then domain privacy is worth it. Without it, anyone can look up your WHOIS data and expose all of your sensitive information like your name and contact information like your address and phone number. If you don’t want that information available to anyone online, you should select privacy protection when you register your site through a host.

This is a great effort, when you are talking about response time, it is ping response. Also, it would be a ping response on their primary site (which will usually give you 100% uptime). But, it depends on the response time of the shared Hosting server, where the websites are actually hosted - and what is the page load time. For instance, BlueHost on their primary website has 100% uptime and with a great response time. As soon as you get onto one of their servers, I have seen website page load time shoots up to over 30s.
